6 WEEKS - Where does the time go?

This week Sam is 6 weeks old. It seems like yesterday that he came home from the hospital. Yesterday (Thursday) Courtnee took the little Salmon to the Doctor and got him weighed and measured. The little guy seems to be eating a bunch of Wheaties because he now weighs 9 lbs 14 oz and is 22" long. So he is putting on more weight than I am. This last week when I woke up I found Courtnee, Sam and Franklin on the couch all curled up together. Boy was that a sight. Franklin really doesn't want much to do with Sam so this is a big mile stone for him.

Frank and Sam enjoy a Bath

Tonight Courtnee was bathing Sam and Frank was dying to see what is going on. So he jumped in to the bath and watched to make sure mom was doing everything correctly. Frank did not partake in getting wet, but he did do a good job in supervising.

Mom and Dad visit Sam

This last weekend Mom and Dad came up from Nebraska to visit Sam. It was a pretty eventful weekend and beginning of the week. They arrived on Saturday evening and stayed until Thursday morning. We painted the garage and got everything ready before it gets to cold. Dad and I also went fishing with one of my friends on the Wisconsin River. We had a great time even though the rain came and we got drenched. After the rain dad started fishing again and caught a 26" walleye and between the 3 of us caught about 50 fish. Courtnee and Mom stayed home with Sam that night and watched some Boston Legal.
