Merry Christmas - 2009

A wonderful Holiday season is coming to an end. This year we have been blessed in so many ways. Our first full year as parents was a roller coaster ride. We've learned that our little boy has a personality all his own. It's not taught, but acquired. He's funny, goofy, inquisitive, and quite the little stinker at times. "No" has unfortunately become a common word in our vocabulary as Sam Curtis is trying to expand his boundaries. It's ok, though, it doesn't seem to phase him much. We're still learning how to balance our time with a kiddo. It's not easy but we really are loving this whole parent thing.

Kelly is still at Renaissance Learning working as an e-Learning Developer. We were just saying tonight how much he has learned working for the company and how much he truly enjoys working there. It's a real blessing to have such a stable, strong company in a time where those words are not often used. I am, also, still working at WoodTrust Bank in the Loan Operations department. It has been a whirlwind working in this department. I don't really know where the year went. At the beginning of the year is when we saw the mortgage rates drop significantly and it went all willy nilly from there. I, too, have learned so much but still have so much to learn about loans.

We had a great Christmas as we were reminded once again this year that we are thankful for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Kelly put together a little slide show of a few scenes from this holiday season. It was Sam's first Christmas to actually enjoy opening gifts. We hope that you also had a Merry Christmas and we are looking forward to sharing 2010 with you. To view these photos click here.
