A special Sled
This sled has been in the Frisbie family for quite some time. We thought it would be really neat to have Sam sit on his Great Grandmother's sled from when she was a little girl. Here's a big slide for you Granny Margo!

Sam goes sledding
A few Sundays ago we took Sledding Sam to the "hill" to shred! When we arrived, he only wanted to play on the jungle gym and go down the slide. The good dad I am, I picked him up, and slid him down the hill. After that, it was all history. He had a wonderful time with his friends and he even walked back up the hill and carried his own tube.

Joined a Tribe
This past week I have joined a new tribe. My tribe name "Kelly of the Black Ear". You see, I just wanted to be a part of something more. This past week I got that. I went in for a routine ear cleaning from an ENT and this is what happened. Thankfully, my ears are better now, and you can't tell that I have anything wrong with me. What happened was, when the doctor cleaned my ears they used drops and the drops changed my ear colors. Not sure why, but this will always be in my mind from now on when I go in for the routine cleaning.
All is well in the ear department these days.
(sorry if it grosses you out)

(oh and the beard is gone! I was trying to stay warm in frozen tundra land)

The Holidays are Over
Happy Holidays to Everyone! Oh wait, the holidays are over and that means, back to normal in the Peterson house. We had a wonderful and relaxing holiday. Well almost. Christmas was great and New Years eve was a little stressful this year. I took on the job of shooting a wedding and it was a lot of fun, but very challenging. The photos turned out great and now just trying to get all of them edited and to the new bride and groom.

Sam is doing well and as energetic as ever. He is into jumping and I mean jumping. His favorite saying right now is "that is funny". Some of the things he does are pretty funny and we are always asking ourselves, where does he learn that?
We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with family and we will keep posting more soon.

My Cheeks are Nice and Rosy
The cold weather and snow is now upon us. Over the weekend we received a few inches of snow and so it was the time to get out and get the sidewalks and drive way shoveled. Sam and I got all dressed, grabbed the shovels and got busy. After our chores were completed we had fun making show angles, racing and throwing snow into the air. We hope everyone has a fun Holiday Season!

Thanksgiving Preparations
Every year Kelly and I do the same thing....bake bake bake 'til the cows come home. His specialty is a pumpkin pie. Yes, my man can bake! He makes a beautiful pie (pie crust and all). My dessert usually varies, but this year Daddy requested a chocolate pie. So we threw a little Mannheim Steamrollers into the cd player and got to crackin'. We had to take a photo of us in our cute aprons (ok Kelly wouldn't want me to refer to him as cute in an apron so take a look at him looking all manly in the Texas apron). Also, earlier today I mixed up our family's cornbread dressing and Kelly mixed up the green bean casserole. I believe we're set and ready to be "thankful" at the dinner table tomorrow evening at mom and dad's. But we really do have so much to be thankful for. I don't think I can cover everything that I'm thankful for, but I know that I am blessed to have such a wonderful quirky family. I love it! Kelly and I often laugh at how we don't think anyone else could tolerate us so thank God He brought us together!! I believe that Sam is one of our greatest treasures and reasons to be thankful. I never thought we'd be blessed with such a beautiful, goofy, intelligent, loving boy. And of course our parents who do so much for us, thank you. Kelly and I wish everyone a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving. Happy Turkey Day y'all!
