The Boys go Backyard Camping

This past weekend Sam and I had a great experience in backyard camping. We spent the night Friday and Saturday night at a friends backyard in the tent. We got up just in time to make it to church (a little late) on Sunday. The weather was perfect, although where our tent was positioned we didn't get air movement so we were a little hot a sweaty by the morning. Good thing we had a pool to jump into. You are probably wondering, where was Courtnee? Well if you aren't, you are now. She was at home, sleeping on her nice pillow top mattress, and cuddling with a furry creature. She did come over for breakfast, lunch and dinner and to help with Sam. She is not much of a camper and she had to get the house cleaned up for a open house that we were having a few days later. The goal was for the boys to do boys things and for Courtnee to have a little bit of quite and relaxing time without the stinky, dirty boys around.

A couple days before, Sam and I set up the tent in our backyard. It is huge for 2 people to sleep in, but that is ok with me.

Bumper Boats in the pool. They were great and by the end of the weekend Sam was able to drive it like a Nascar driver.

Having his first "snore".

Frank showing love to the camera. Oh and probably getting ready to sleep in my spot on the bed.
