4 month appointment

Well we did it! Sam made it through his appointment like a champ. So we found out that his weight is in the normal range (14 lbs 8 oz) and his head is normal size (thank goodness! You don't want to know what mom and dad say about abnormal sized baby heads!) Doc says his head has grown a lot which is good b/c this means his brain is developing very well. YEAH! But the real shocker...not really.....is that he's in the 75% of height. For those of you who don't understand the percentile thing (which I didn't until today), anything above 50% is above average so in Sam's case means he's taller than average, and anything below 50% obviously means they are below average. Sam has grown about 2 in since his 2 mos visit which puts him about 25 1/4 inches tall. Besides the two shots it was a great visit! Thanks Dr. Tremble! He says our boy is healthy, growing, and developing very well. Something that every parent wants to hear. Happy Friday y'all!
